3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Remembering Delicious Days By William L. Evans Got this last night at my local bookstore where there was a signing. Great book about some of our city's lost gems! It includes photos and recipies! Really took me down memory lane, but the Kahiki is only mentioned in passing. I know that one of the authors has an entire book dedicated to this restaurant, but not everyone will purchase both books. I wish they had included more info on it. Inevitably some great places were left out, I'd have included The Desert Inn and Emil's. Two great old places on the East side, one classy and the other a bastion of delicious diner food including kosher pickles on each table! Love what's here, miss what's not!

The Capital City has a long, rich history of wonderful dining establishments and the authors have uncovered more stories and tales that take the reader back to a time when dining out was a memory making event!I would highly recommend 'Lost Restuarants of Columbus' to anyone!! If you can find a copy, get it for yourself or someone as a gift!
