John becomes Juan (ja) By Kindle Customer I would like to thank Paul Hock and Goodreads First Reads for my free copy of "The Serpents Eyes" in exchange for an honest review. I enjoyed this book. John had sailing in his blood from a very young age. He was so determined. He stowed away on a Portuguese ship. The next day John became Juan and his incredible journey began. This book definitely has lot a lot of action and adventure on the high seas. He faced massive storms, pirates and privateers. Battles were fought and won. It was truly quite a swashbuckling tale all the way to the end. This is definitely a good read.
