Adair Once again we blast off for a strange adventure on an alien world, a world of mystery, suspense and cliff hanging predicament. Bullard's sense of of honor will not allow him to accept a medal for being first to fly to another planet. Convinced that his friend, Haldgren, may still be alive, he sets out to find him and solve the mystery of an SOS sent from the Moon. He is not one to defy authority unless he thinks it necessary. I think of the army veteran who told me once that "Sometimes it's necessary to obey the order your superior officer would have given if he he knew what he was doing." This is my favorite sort of 30's Space Opera where advanced scientific knowledge and two-fisted action wins the day!
