Review This book is non-stop action with great characters that we have grown to love from Cinder or are just meeting in book two. I could not put this book down. Highly recommend! Cannot wait for more in this series.

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. A fast paced page turner By Noah I'm glad I didn't have to wait too long for the second volume of Topher Kearby's Organics series. The first book ended with a cliffhanger, and the second hits the ground running. The setting changes from Cinder to Earth, but an Earth very different from the one that we know now. We never learn exactly what happened, but it is clear that the planet suffered some kind of catastrophe and hundreds of years later people are either living like animals in the forest, or they are living a more civilized life in the Last City, a citadel of technology (although the people who live there pay a price for their gadgets). Fast paced, and with excellent world building, Earth is a book that will keep you turning the pages to find out what's going to happen next. Can't wait for the next book in this series.

One of my favorite things to do is every couple of weeks By Amazon Customer One of my favorite things to do is every couple of weeks, sit down and binge by reading Vol 1 and 2 of this series. While Volume 1 served as a nice introduction to the characters, reading Earth I found myself so much more invested, as if I were reading about the adventures of people I actually knew. It's an excellently paced story and it doesn't stumble over itself at the hurried pace of the action and dialogue. My only real disappointment is that when I finish I don't have a Volume 3 to dive into.(I know it probably won't say 'verified purchase' next to this review--I purchased this from Topher Kearby's Storenvey page).

Earth picks up right where Cinder left off with immediate, heart pounding action. I was sucked into Taurin and company's journey so fast that I didn't set the book down until I finished it. Topher Kearby took me on an emotional journey of wonder, excitement, fear, sorrow, and joy; emotions I haven't felt with a series since Harry Potter. Do yourself a favor and disappear into the world Kearby creates. You won't want to leave.
