From the Author NOTE:This title is currently under revision by the author for a revised release. Only minor changes will be taking place, however, NO changes will be made to the main interior. A quick note: This is my very first short chapter style book aimed at the elementary age (3rd to 5th grade). While book one "Treasures Beneath" opens the door to the life of our lead Character "Cody", it also opens the door to the imagination and determination of an autistic child. I hope you take the time to read this, and understand the story line as it is laid out. I am currently working on book three and book two is set to be released sometime in early to mid 2016. I hope as I embark on this new part of my life, that I can encourage others to never give up and to always try.
About the Author Dennis received career diplomas in the field of Child Psychology and Early Childhood Education from Stratford Career Institute as well as an honorary degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology and an Advanced Certificate in Social Services from Glendale University. He is currently working as an after school teacher for his local School System where he has taught for seven years in the field as a substitute teacher until 2015 when he became dedicated to the after school programs. As a single parent of a child with autism and developmental delays; he has become a strong advocate for child and adolescent development, autism support and awareness, as well as many other programs to support the youth. His professional interests focus on autism research and education, and his current projects include activity within social media sites to provide support and awareness. In addition, he serves as senior pastor for New Life Family Worship Center.
