In parts it made me laugh and at times it made me feel for the characters and their predicaments but overall it was a fast-paced, exciting and wondrous journey that introduced me to so many fantastical creatures, each of them bringing their own strength to what is a gripping story. Would highly recommend. Perfect if you want to be taken on an incredible journey.

This story is filled with interesting characters including a wizard (obviously), a vampire, an undead monster hunter, a werewolf, a shapeshifter, an army of flowers, plus many more! Although the story feels rushed at points, it's definitely worth a read.

By Whitni This heroic tale begins with a tragedy, from which a young wizard is tormented with guilt and looking for retribution... As well as an escape from his personal nightmare, "the dragon." In a soul searching quest turned heroic crusade, the wizard, Ambrose, encounters many a mystical creature, but nothing like the one person for which he will soon be fighting his crusade, Florentina. This "infected" and "cursed" Bloodsucker needed his help from the start, and his bravery and humanity sparked an unlikely and forbidden romance between the pair of weary travelers, far from home. Now in search of a cure for her infection, the star-crossed lovers meet many friends, yet equally as many foes, while their paths must split only to (hopefully —even if in vain) meet again. With the power of a wizard aiding the pair, it is ultimately true love that keeps each lover pushing ahead despite any obstacle. This longer tale from Whittaker is a new genre for this author compared to his other works of violence and horror. This piece, however, is a magical love story, but with the same detailed imagery (complete with an extra bit of gore) that you can always expect from his works! Each character's story is unique to say the least, but all starting with a goal of retribution and second chances; ultimately ending as a fight against all odds so that the lovers can one day meet again and spend their enternities at each other's side... Even if it means to die trying. This epic adventure will have you on the edge of your seat as you read each mystical character's own journey as it intertwines with that of the wizard and the bloodsucker, destined to be together, no matter the cost. This story proves that true love can be found in the strangest of places, no matter who you are, or what your past may have been. If you're looking for a love story filled with adventure, magic, the supernatural, and epic battles — look no further!! R.F.
