Well, “The Sirens of the Sector” was worth the wait. Anyone interested at all in not just life after death but the human journey should give this title a chance. Only Brandon Berntson can tie in a great fantasy with the subject of the afterlife. He really delivers. This is a fascinating read for the intellectually and spiritually curious.

For fans of Brandon's other works, you can be rest assured his classic, stylish writing style is present amongst the whirling gears and dystopian settings. This story is not your standard android story, nor is it the typical occupied-Earth story. This is a tale that stands complete and satisfying unto itself without relying on the standard trope.
