2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Loved By Molly B. Laird I was given this ARC in exchange for an honest review. This was originally published in a series. Although it was a little short, I still fully enjoyed this book. And I am very keen to find out what happens next. The lead characters are Emma and Jack. Their blooming friendship is very romantic and you can feel their connection and desire they have. I love how Charlotte Byrd has created a strong, fierce but yet timid at the same time character out of Emma. Emma's back story is very emotional and you feel your heart breaking for her as you read it. The lead male Jack is very much as mans man or who we all would call a player. But also deep into his own thoughts which creates his own personal hell inside his head. The scenes of the story are well written and the direlect between the leading characters seem very realistic and the uses of emotive language grips you and leaves you wanting more. I can't wait for my next read of Charlotte Byrd and I really loved this story.

You have Emma who is shy, smart, college and she struggles with issues at home, who wants to get out and.go to a university. Oh yeah her dad is a cop. Then you have Jack who is in a motorcycle club, involved in illegal activities (seems like the family business), he goes to college as well and this sexy bad boy wants out too. Then you have Kyle who asked Emma out, he's sexy but scary too. Jack and Emma have an attraction, they are drawn to each other. But the problem is Jack has a girlfriend and Emma went on a date with Kyle who happens to be Jack's brother. But in the end it works out. Jack and Emma are together and they will both be transferring to the same university. This book is a must read even if the mc books are your thing this book will be right it only mentions the mc name a couple of times. Charlotte did a great job with this book!''

Ever since her mom left him he has lived life in a bottle. Emma wants more for her life that what she has found in her home town. She is in her first year of community college and what she wants is to go to a real college as far away as she can get.Emma also has a crush.Jack and Emma are english peer partners. They have completely different backgrounds. He is from a family that is entrenched in an MC, they are also drug dealers.When Jack sees Emma at an MC party he is thrown. He remarks that he girl he knows from school is not a girl he thought to see at a party like that. When Emma gets angry and decides to walk home, the person to come after her isn't Jack but his brother Kyle.Kyle asks Emma out and she agrees. After all, Jack has a girlfriend and she likes that Kyle likes her.As things progress Jack and Emma realize that have deep feelings for each other. But things keep getting in the way.This is a good, quick read. Jack and Emma are at the start of their lives and are for the first time finding out who they are, what they want for themselves and what they want from each other. Their journey to a relationship of love is not easy, but to find out what happens, you are going to have to read the book.**I was given an arc in exchange for an honest review**
